By Organisation, we mean any group, business or organisation you are part of. For example, a Heritage Group, community council or cafe.

By Projects we mean anything you or your organisation does or wants to do. A Project might be already happening, such as a Youth Club or regular walk. Or it might be just an idea you have, and are looking to get others involved.

Unfortunately not. At the moment, you need a personal profile to join Go Get Gorbals. However, if you're using the site through work and don't want other users to see your profile, you can select 'No' to the question 'Show my profile on the Public Directory?' when you sign up. Then you won't show up in the directory of users.

In this case, the only way people will be able to view your profile is if you comment on something, or add something to the site as yourself, rather than an Organisation or Project.

You can always change this by clicking Edit on your profile page.

Just do what you would normally to do add a Have, Need, Event or Project to the site. You can do this from the Haves, Needs, Events and Projects directory pages, your profile page or the drop-down menu at the top of the page.

If you are a member of any Projects or Organisations, the second question on the form is 'Who owns this ... ?'

The dropdown menu will show you a list of options, including yourself and any Projects or Organisations you are part of. Just choose whichever you prefer.

Haves and Needs are anything that can make life, work and play in the Gorbals better.

If you have something to give, add a Have.

If you need something, add a Need.

An item. This could be a physical item, such as books, clothes or furnititure; or something digital, like a survey or website.

Anything which requires a person. It could be someone who is just starting out or a professional. Do you have time to offer as a volunteer? Or you need an accountant to help your project or organisation.

Any space you have for people to use. This could be for sports, meetings, parties or storage.

All Haves and Needs must be entirely free of charge. Sorry, that's our policy.

Go Get Gorbals is about encouraging sharing and collaboration in the community. There are plenty of other websites for selling and buying things already.
